What can I find in the EQUALS Digital Skills Hub?

You will find a wealth of information on efforts from around the world aiming to bridge the digital skills gap. These include projects, resources, and case studies, each with a page with relevant filters to facilitate your search. All resources are open source, accessible free of charge. Most of the content you find on the EQUALS Digital Skills Hub is in English with some linked to external sites in other languages. We plan to make more information available and support the website in other languages in the future.

How does science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) relate to digital skills and the gender digital skills divide?

Although the main focus of the EQUALS Digital Skills Hub is advancing girls’ and women’s competencies and skills in information and communication technologies (ICTs), the EQUALS Skills Coalition is concerned about the persistent gap in girls’ and women’s participation in STEM more broadly. The Hub includes resources and projects aiming to empower girls and women to be users, creators and innovators in STEM fields.

My project or resource is not included. Can I add it to the EQUALS Digital Skills Hub?

Yes! You can add your contribution(s) to projects and resources using these simple forms (projects | resources). Before your contributions are included in the Digital Skills Hub, they will be reviewed by EQUALS. We are always grateful for contributions.

Can I add my project or resource to the EQUALS Digital Skills Hub even if it is not in English?

Do not hesitate to send in information on your project or resource even if it is not in English. Please understand that it may take some time for this to appear on the website as it will have to be reviewed. We are trying our best to make the website available in other languages in the future.

Can my project be included as a case study?

Yes! The EQUALS Skills Hub has an open call for case studies. If you want to share stories on how your project has contributed in narrowing the gender digital skills gap please fill in this form. We are looking forward to receiving your case study!
